Christmas and Hanukkah in the Holy land חנוכה וחג המולד בארץ הקודש
On the last week of 2019 we went on a tour in the Holy land with an amazing group from Dallas, Texas, USA.
During this week we had the unique opportunity to see Hanukkah and Christmas celebrated together in this land that has so many sites which are important for both Christians and Jews.
The first part of the trip was in and around Jerusalem and we visited many sites in the old and modern parts of Jerusalem, we visited Bethlehem on Christmas day and went to Masada and the Dead Sea where the weather is nice and warm even in December.
On the second part of the tour we headed north through Jericho and the Jordan Valley and visited sites along the shores of the Sea of Galilee and went all the way up to Banias on the Lebanese border.
All good things must end and on the last days we starting heading back to the center of the country and visited Meggido, Mount Carmel, Caesarea and Tel Aviv-Yaffo before the group headed back home.
What a way to end 2019!
