Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, above and underground.
A rainy visit in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv with some very nice visitors from Spain.
On Day 1 we visited Yad Vashem, the holocaust museum in Jerusalem and from there we continued to Mahane Yehuda market just before Shabbat, when the place is buy, full of people, great smells and even better food. The afternoon was dedicated to a visit in Bethlehem.
Day 2 was dedicated to the Christian sites on Mount of Olives and the old city with some beautiful lookouts on the city along the way.
Day 3 started with a visit in the Western Wall Tunnel, afterwards we entered the Temple Mount compound and saw the iconic Dome of the Rock from up close. later we visited the fascinating archaeological site of the City of David and concluded the day visiting Mount Zion and the Jewish Quarter.
On Day 4 we left Jerusalem for a tour of Tel Aviv starting in Old Jaffa and through the port we continued to the picturesque neighborhood of Neve Tzedek and finished the tour at Rothschild Boulevard, where the city of Tel Aviv was born more than 100 years ago.
Four days of unique religious, historical and archaeological sites, combined with excellent local food and some beautiful views.
