3 days, 3 landscapes
Israel is quite a small country, and one of it's greatest advantages is being able to see very different places and landscapes which are close to each other, and that's exactly what we did with a Dutch family that visited last month. On the first day, we drove from Tel Aviv along the Mediterranean coast and visited the ancient port city of Caesarea, the beautiful gardens dedicated to the memory of Baron Rothschild and the picturesque historical center of Zikhron Yaacov. On the second day we went south to the desert, we hiked in the beautiful oasis of Ein Avdat, we visited Sede Boker, David Ben Gurion, Israel's first prime minister favorite place in Israel, and we saw mysterious rock drawings made by desert travelers in ancient times. On the third day we went to Jerusalem and enjoyed the views, the history, the stories, the aromas and the tastes. 3 days, 3 totally different places.
