A few days a year it rains enough in the higher parts of the Judaean desert and flash floods fill the usualy dry steams flowing into the Dead Sea, but when that happens it's an amazing sight.
We went "flood hunting" in the desert just after the rains stopped and saw a lot of water and mud...
